Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor is an American screen and stage actress who is best known for her film roles as a character in Ray Undercover Brother and on the tv show The Mentalist. She graduated with a BA from Brown University in African-American Studies. The Tisch school of the arts, New York University she earned an MFA. Aunjanue l. She started her career as an actress in 1995 when she played Ariel in The Tempest. Stage credits are Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production by Joe Turner. In her film career, she is most well-known for her roles in films like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. For her work on television she's been recognized for her part in the role of a character who is a regular on ABC's drama about cops High Incident.
